When local photographer, Pixie Herbert, first asked us about using the lodge as a private salon for boudoir photography, we had some questions…quite a few questions to be honest. The answers to which have ultimately led us to enthusiastically host 1 night retreats for guests hoping for a private back drop in which to capture these beautiful photographs.

What is Boudoir Photography
A photographic style featuring intimate, sensual, romantic, and sometimes erotic images of its subjects in a photographic studio, bedroom or private dressing room environment, primarily intended for the private enjoyment of the subjects and their romantic partners.

History of Boudoir Photography
Boudoir’s first use was in early 20th century France with upper class women being captured in their private salons. Artistic movements during this time contributed widely to the sensual depictions of women in both public and private spaces.

Modern Boudoir
The sky is the limit… confidence, sensuality, and celebration of mind, body and spirit.

LODGE PRICING
899 to 1275 per night depending on booking date(s).
$350 cleaning fee
* A single night stay is available for boudoir photo shoot participants only. However, if participating guests wish to add additional night(s), the cleaning fee will be waived.

*The Lodge at Arcady Ridge Ranch provides a safe and beautiful backdrop for your boudoir experience. We coordinate dates and arrange lodging, gourmet charcuterie baskets, and additional add ons such as massage or private yoga sessions.

The bottom line is that this should be a joyful, confidence building experience for anyone participating.
