Our fishing program is designed for all experience levels, from beginners to seasoned anglers, offering both backcountry adventures and more accessible options in the Wind River Valley. Whether fishing high mountain lakes or nearby streams, we focus on thoughtful and responsible experiences.

Fishing trips run late spring through early fall, depending on water levels and conditions. Book early for peak summer and fall dates. Experience the best fishing spots in Wyoming’s wild rivers and alpine lakes with personalized, small-group fishing excursions led by Joe Hargrove and Traci McClintic.

GUIDED FISHING TRIPS

  • PARTICIPANTS

    2 person minimum/8 person maximum.

  • AGE LIMIT

    Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The minimum age is 10 for day trips and 14 for overnight fishing trips.

  • WHAT’S INCLUDED

    Helmets and tack are provided for horseback rides. Bring your own fishing gear, or let us know in advance if you’d like us to supply it. Half and Full day trips include snacks, lunch, assorted non alcoholic beverages and water priced at $20 per person.

  • HOW TO DRESS & PREPARE

    Wear sturdy, quick-drying pants suitable for both riding and fishing, a long-sleeve shirt, boots for walking and riding, and pack wading boots for fishing.

  • WEIGHT LIMIT

    Max of 250 lbs for horseback rides.

  • GRATUITY

    Gratuity should be paid directly to one’s guide at the end of the trip. While tipping is not mandatory, it is customary and at the client’s discretion.

For those who prefer hiking over horseback—explore remote streams, lakes, and rivers with an experienced guide, all accessible by 4WD vehicle. Half-day trips come with snacks, lunch, water, and a variety of non-alcoholic beverages for an additional $20 per person.

4 hour excursion from 8am-12pm or 1pm-5pm.

FULL DAY WALK & WADE

$680/day (up to 2 anglers per guide)

Join our expert Wyoming fishing guides for an immersive introduction to the art of fly fishing. Perfect for beginners and those looking to refine their technique, this hands-on workshop covers essential casting fundamentals, reading water conditions, selecting the right flies for local species, and protecting our local streams, wildlife, and hatcheries.

When fishing with Said Creek Outfitters at Arcady Ridge Ranch, you can rely on our deep, expert knowledge of the local areas to give you the best chance at catching that next monster! Depending on your trip, here’s what a typical day on the water looks like:

Meet your guide, review gear, and ride or drive to some of Wyoming’s best fishing spots in Dubois and surrounding areas.

☀️ Midday
Cast for wild trout and other local species, enjoy a streamside lunch, and take in some of the most breathtaking views in the area.

🌤️ Afternoon
More fishing, riverside relaxation, and a return ride or drive to the ranch.

🌜Evening (for multi-day trips)
Return to Arcady Ridge Ranch for a nice, home-cooked dinner, stories around the fire, and rest in your cozy accommodations.

    There is a rental charge for any items we rent on your behalf. All guests are required to purchase flies, and a purchase link will be provided after you select your fishing trip, ensuring the flies are ready for you upon arrival.

  • Horseback riding and tack

    For horseback anglers and ride-in trips, all necesesary gear is provided.

  • Snacks and/or meals

    Snacks or meals are provided based on your selected package – bring your favorite snacks/foods if needed!

  • Non-alcoholic beverages

    Water and non-alcoholic beverages are provided. BYOB!

  • Comfortable lodging

    For overnight fishing trips, cozy accommodationsat Arcady Ridge Ranch are included.
